Charlie And The Great Glass Elevator

Dear Readers,,
This about the book Charlie And The Great Glass Elevator. This book picks up from Charlie And The Chocholate Factory, where it all begins. The glass elevator was soaring high in the sky. the passengers were Charlie, Mr. Wonka, Mr. Bucket, Mrs. Bucket, Grandpa Joe. Grandma Josephine, Grandpa George, Grandma Georgina, and the bed. My favorite part was when there was the Vermicios Knid with the purple butt.

The BFG

Dear Readers,
This blog is about the BFG. It is about a little girl named Sophie and of course, the BFG (Big Friendly Giant). It all started one night at the witching hour. All children were asleep, except for Sophie. The BFG was blowing dreams, when suddenly... SNATCH! Out goes Sophie. A couple weeks later the other giants are going off to eat some nice little English children! Sophie and the BFG have to do something. But what???

Happy Birthday KIT!

Dear Readers,
I've read a lot but here is the book I liked the most, it is called "Happy Birthday Kit!". It is about a little girl named Kit. She lives in the time of the Great Depression. Then one day, her Aunt Millie comes to visit. Aunt Millie is full of great ideas! So Kit, Sterling, and Kit's best friend, Ruthie decide to make a book about her ideas.

And We Are Back

Sorry for the long absence, but school work got in the way of blogging.

The Bookworm has read lots of books over the last six months and has studied hard to complete the 2nd grade. Now it is Summer Time here and the girl is lost in her books.
Our weekly trip to the library requires a suitcase to haul all of the books she intends to read (not to mention the occasional borrowing of mom's nook).

Stay tuned for more updates from the bookworm.
